Cold and wet. We got a minor, very minor snow flurry. Otherwise lots and lots of rain.
I like the idea of a Find of the Day thread. One day I might find something to post in it,lol.

Cold and wet. We got a minor, very minor snow flurry. Otherwise lots and lots of rain. I like the idea of a Find of the Day thread. One day I might find something to post in it,lol. I was thinking about this today and in no way is this tooting my own horn. I have a luxury of free time, so there are multiple days each week where I can spend between 1-2 hours minimum down at the lake shore. I would guess most people don't have this amount of free time nor would they chose to spend it stooped over in ankle deep water. I could spend hours given the right gravel pile of landscape rocks and the like, and really believe I could find the same quality and maybe MORE variety than I find at the lake. Just my two cents. I think it's more free time than location...but then again maybe I don't realize I'm slightly spoiled  |

I can spend hours in the creek and consider every minute quality time. Unfortunately, it's quartz, feldspar and granite where I live. I have places I want to hit locally but no time at the moment.
