It's taken awhile to finish, but I finally got it done. I have a large family full of drama and the war in Ukraine has been freaking me out. So, aside from the difficulty of the piece and the fact that I did a couple of copper wraps to test the techniques (most of which you can't see), it took almost 2 weeks.
This is goldfill and antique copper. The colors and tones go so well. I'm really sold on this combo. Sorry, but the picture in no way represents the depth of color and warmth in the piece.
The cab is really big. To give you an idea of the amount of wire- that top wire is 14g 14k yellow gold fill. I don't think I have ever used a 14g wire before. My aim was to harmonize all the earth tones and to distract from the blue area leaving the pattern more predominate.
This was the last wrap for holajonathan . I got a lot of nice slabs from him! Thank you, Jonathan.

Wow! That is gorgeous! I think that may be up there with my favorites of the wraps I’ve seen.

You are truly a talented artist, Tela. The time and skill that you invest in each piece are on display and a joy to admire.

You are truly a talented artist, Tela. The time and skill that you invest in each piece are on display and a joy to admire. You always make me blush... but, I'm happy you notice. I do put a lot into some. Wow...just wow. Thank you, Dave! I'm glad you got a chance to see it. Bravo! Sir, please don't kneel. Tela, that turned out amazingly fantastic! Gary pretty well nailed it with his comments...you really are so artistic! Thanks, Jason. Do you see where I almost broke the odd rule? There are 6 wires that connect to the bail bar. But, the bail makes 7- odd.

That's nice. Really like the use of round and square wire on the perimeter, it addresses the issues that came up for me when attempting prongs with a square wire. If that's 14g on top, how big is the cab?

If that's 14g on top, how big is the cab? Thanks. The cab is about 55x37mm. I used 2 round and 2 square with the prongs made with round wire. I don't usually use square wire, but I didn't want to take any chances with the wires rolling with so many bindings.

Superb! The creativity of those of you who wrap astonishes me! Not to mention the skill involved to actually make them! Beautiful work!

Just pushing the "like" button wasn't enough this time - that wrap is REALLY nice. Not a typical wrap, which to my thinking makes it even better. You're good ! :-)
