Fantastic job on those stones in each set of pictures. Nice mix of stones too.
Tin oxide definitely worked well for you... do you think it gives better results than other polishes you have tried?

WOW! I have yet to see the full potential of T.O. for myself but so far I am quite impressed with the results it's had on some of my "problem" stones. It's just so darned EXPENSIVE! The "sample" I got for free was good for one or maybe two runs (if recycled & used sparingly) and was about three bucks! I'll stick with C.O. unless I have to resort to T.O. to get a better shine.

Geez! Those rocks sure came out nice. I've never used Tin Oxide, but now it's something that I am willing to try. (I was going to call it T.O., but there's something about those initials that I just don't like. Better yet I'd love to get T.O. and tumble him for a couple of weeks in 60 grit.)

From my findings, I like A.O alot on agates, I actually used A.O. for 5 days on them and they were not shining as good as the other batch I just posted, so I thought I would clean them up and run them for 6 days in the tin, seems to have worked out pretty well. Mostly I use A.O. Next batch I'm gonna try cerium again.

Earthdog - All three TO posts are great looking stones. I'd like to see one pic with all those rocks in it.

Condor - Who the hell is TO? Or is that a Texas thing?

Who is T.O.? He's the bad boy who just lost millions of dollars after having been fired from the Philadelphia Eagles. He has a long history of opening his mouth and sticking his foot in it, and doing things on the field that have been very controversial. The Eagles organization finally had enough and got rid of him. He's either loved or hated. I don't hate him, but I can't stand his cockiness. But, in the grand scheme of things, he's rich and I'm not. On the other hand, I can tumble rocks really nice and he can't.

I'd use Tin Oxide if I could afford it, but I have no extra body parts lying around Those sure are nice. I'm thinking I'm gonna have to break down and get some though because my ammy is making me nuts. Just put it in C.O. last night as 2 weeks or so in AO is not getting the job done.

Lookin' good Edog. You can't beat Tin Oxide for always giving a good shine. I re-use it about 5 or 6 times, adding just a little each time, so that way it's really not that expensive.
T.O. came into the NFL trying to fill some pretty big shoes, namely Jerry Rice, but the only thing he could do that Rice couldn't was to get himself disliked by everyone.
