TheRock Here's a few pictures of the Frig Magnets I recently made. My wife had the extra metal cutout sheets for some of her magnetic decorative items, they work very well as storage and display boards. You need some way to keep the Magnets from fighting and attracting each other. I am thinking of raising the 3 for price to 3 for $11. IMG_4084 by Findrocks, on Flickr IMG_4086 by Findrocks, on Flickr I use Neodymium-Iron-Boron Rare-Earth Magnets, they are very strong and a bit frustrating to work with. Separating them and picking them up is a character builder. The plastic tweezers come in real handy for picking them up and setting them on the drop of Super-Glue( I use the Gel type) IMG_4088 by Findrocks, on Flickr The ones I use are .375" diameter and .063" thick, hence the tweezers. Here's the part number. They cost me about .40cents each plus shipping, Then add the cost of Superglue comes to about .50 cents each to make. IMG_4090 by Findrocks, on Flickr Henry

Forgot to mention, I made 3 trial magnets using tumbled pieces of TigerEye, not slabs just 1 inch pieces. What I did not know was that TigerEye has a metallic skin, the magnets jumped from the tweezers to the shiny metallic surface, surprised me.

Those tumbles make such beautiful magnets! As far as your pricing...I'm still convinced in situations like this, you should offer them $4 a piece or 3 for $15...see who falls for it! LOL

HankRocks we made a few magnets as well and sold them for $5 each. We didn't sell a lot of them but no one scoffed at the price either. We used an old rock saw blade to display them. It worked great ๐

It worked great ๐ The 3 for $10 was attractive as I had almost all "3 for" sales, very few sold individually. I like the old saw blade display idea, may have to see how I can work that in.

If someone is going to pay $4, then they will also pay $5 if they like it. I would leave bundling to the time of sale, so verbally offer the 3-deal rather than display it. But of course, that is just me. Best of luck with your business.
