I (very) recently got my first and only trim saw, a 6 inch Raytech with 5/8 of an inch arbor. What are your guys' favorite saw blades? I want to use it mainly for trimming down slabs for cabbing, and maybe a little micro-slabbing. Thank you for the advice, you have all always been super helpful.

The best all-around thickness to start out with is probably the .032". Just rigid enough for slicing small rocks, and really good for trimming preforms.
The .020" flexes a lot with very little side pressure. You can push it over to where it's grinding the edges of the slot in the saw table before you know it.
The .050" is rigid - good for "slabbing" - but would eat more of your material than you might like when trimming.

Thank you for the advice. I ended up picking that Raytech saw up based on some advice from you and others. -a thread is soon to follow .
