Thanks to all for the kind comments. I have tried, unsuccessfully, to enlarge the pictures. I know most folks need help decreasing the picture size or just posting photos; I always have to be the oddball. I will be posting a plea for help on the technical help board.

I made the scales from a piece of rough I bought at Quartzsite a couple of years back. The blade is a purchased blank I got from Premium Knife Supply. It is 8 1/4 inches long and made from 9Cr14MoV stainless steel. Seems to hold an edge well.

I decided to try making sheaths after a little encouragement from NDK. The first couple were a little rough, but I'm starting to feel satisfied with how they turn out.
