I agree, outstanding! I wish your pictures were a little bit bigger so I good have a real good look at that handle.

That looks gorgeous! I'll agree with Robin...a little bigger on the pics would go a long way.

I'd love to see a bigger image, but from what I see- I like. The sheath is very nice, too. My DH is making a sheath. (Don't tell him, but yours is nicer. )

Thanks to all for the kind comments. I have tried, unsuccessfully, to enlarge the pictures. I know most folks need help decreasing the picture size or just posting photos; I always have to be the oddball. I will be posting a plea for help on the technical help board.

Tell us more about the blade... made from scratch? Kit? What kind of steel? It sure looks nice.

Tell us more about the blade... made from scratch? Kit? What kind of steel? It sure looks nice. I made the scales from a piece of rough I bought at Quartzsite a couple of years back. The blade is a purchased blank I got from Premium Knife Supply. It is 8 1/4 inches long and made from 9Cr14MoV stainless steel. Seems to hold an edge well.

(Don't tell him, but yours is nicer. ) I decided to try making sheaths after a little encouragement from NDK. The first couple were a little rough, but I'm starting to feel satisfied with how they turn out.
