I had some of that stuff. Came in a box of misc off Ebay. No clue what it was supposed to be.

I totally see a bird head in this one...the orb is the eye...the beak is the darker yellow on the right side...

I don’t think it’s stinking water personally. However.. there is always the possibility it is. Sometimes you find that one off material from the area that shares the same characteristics yet has different inclusions/colors. The way those plumes splay out, make me think it’s a random piece from graveyard point.

We have some similar rough. Wondered - after looking at online pictures only - if it might be from Northridge. Not far from Graveyard Point, I think.
The gray color in the agate is similar to what we have, but I don't recall larger areas of the golden-brown color.

Thanks for your thoughts on this stuff everyone! I had considered Stinking Water, but had never seen examples with these colors and inclusions. Mostly just the white ‘feathers’ in clear agate. I have more of this rough, and it actually came from two different collections. It sounds like Mark K and Vince have also run into it as well. My guess is at some point a miner found and dug out this material peripheral to a known site (maybe near Graveyard Point as realrockhound and Vince mentioned) and brought it down to Quartzsite or Tucson to sell. It ended up in a few collections. Who knows? Thanks for chiming in!
