This is a Bear Canyon Agate that lunker sent to me to see what I could do with it. I'm not too sure this is exactly what he was expecting! LOL There wasn't much to slab and cab, so I suggested I cut the piece and put what could be used in the tumbler and go from there. This is SO UNLIKE anything I've tried before. I wasn't sure if I liked it at first...but the more I look at it, the more and more I like it. Of course Lunker might hate it! LOL - I just can't help but see a deer head when I look at it... Here's a link to the thread with the pics of the rock in the rough: forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/98092/

Interesting, in a good way. Thanks Bro! I read that hearing my mom's voice saying, "Oh, that looks nice"...no matter what it looked like! LOL Yep! That works too! It's funny the amount of people who think they're real... (Sorry if I ruined that for anyone! LOL) That is cool. I see a deer head too. Thanks Diane! I didn't see the "deer head" potential until after the antlers were put on! LOL

That is really cool. Odd shapes can be a challenge AND fun to do.

I like it! You have a good imagination and enough artistic ability to pull it off. Great job!

I love it. You were extremely creative with that one. Your thinking process was spot on.

Rest easy buddy. I think it's great. Whew!!! Thank you! When I started getting this thing towards the end...the more it started looking like a deer head to me. I thought worse case scenario if you didn't like it, you could always mount it on the wall! LOL I have that other small piece I think I'll try and get to tonight or tomorrow... I love it. You were extremely creative with that one. Your thinking process was spot on. Thanks Beth! It took some finagling on the back of it to stabilize it...but I figured out I needed to put a "cross-bar" along the bottom edge of the wires...which created the rigidity I needed.

WOW! I love it. The first time I looked at it, I thought it kind of looked like an anatomical heart.

Really neat. How does sit look sitting on a chain?

Oh Deer! But I think I aorta go with the heart, like Kimmers said. Definitely nice, and a very creative wrap.

Very unique and clever. I think it's pretty dang neat! Thanks Mel! It's not the direction I want to take my wraps on a normal basis...but this one was actually fun to do.
