Cool pic, looks like a candle flame. That's really neat, don't you just love the brazilian agates!! I can see this is going to be fun, some yummy eye candy to look at.

Wow, you got a lot of nice slabs out of that. What are you going to do with them, are you able to polish them as they are? That's got to be about the prettiest brazilian agate I've ever seen.

Those are so beautiful, you did a great job on them. They are so thin. Tami

I broke in a beautiful pattern, just put the pieces in your tumbler. You will be amazed at how it keeps its shape I have a couple of thin pieces similare to that in my tumbler with sodalite and it is shaping up well. Tami

I will make a lamp out of them --hopefully-- if I quit dropping them. I have it started but am not done yet . Will post a couple of pic of one side that is done ---notice that it gets taken apart and redone ---just didn't look right to me after I started--- I do them like stained glass only use the rock slabs instead of glass ---takes alot longer to cut and shape!!

I've been messing with this stuff for almost 30 years ---BUT----it takes so long to go from rough rock to finished product ( sometimes up to 3 years ) that I haven't made too many. this is the third small one --(just happens that I have three daughters), two large hanging ones, and some mini-houses. I am retired now and thought I would have alot more time but it doesn't seem that way---maybe I just slowed down that much --as an example = some slabs take 2-3 hours to cut 6-8 months to polish (alot longer for flat sides) then to get enough for the project (you can never tell if they are going to break ) and each piece takes about 1 hour to cut and fit to the next (so if a side has a dozen pieces it takes about 12 hours to put together after they are polished) soooooooooooo , it's not something that you can hurry thu--and two years has already gone by just in the time that it took you read all this --hehe

Mr. Tiffany ain't got nothing on you! What a cherished heirloom that will be! Its too bad it takes so long because you could make some SERIOUS cash selling those. But then they wouldn't be near as special if you could do them fast. That is absolutely gorgeous!
