We had 2 partial days to do some rockhounding along the coast from Eureka to Trinadad. My rockhounding book led us to "agate beach" the first day and "moonstone beach" the second day. There was nice rock all over the place in both locations. Most of what we picked up is ready to go into 120/220 and some is ready for 600. some of the rougher rocks some pet wood Rough tumbled by the ocean I'll post pics of what we got at the auction in the General Rocks section and a report of the auction(disappointment). Tomorrow I'll post pics of the scenery in Northern Calif. For those of you not living near a coastline, I think you're gonna like what you see. Ed

Wow Ed, you make me want to go rock hunting, too bad I have such a long wait. You got some really nice stuff there, I can't believe how smooth those rocks are. Definitely going to have to get down to Lake Superior more this summer. Thanks for sharing, can't wait to see your pics of the coast.
