A brief what is.... The first ring, that one is for a Professional Golfer who made two holes in one in one course during the game. It is a gold ring, I made the golfer also from 14kt, malachite background, with two white saphires representing the two holes in one. The malachite is the course itself, and the golfer is an outline taking a swing. The two saphires are set in balls of 14kt with the saphires bead set. The second ring is a white topaz, set in 14K20/.032 wire. A modification of mine on a classic old design. Thanks Sands for letting everybody see what I do. Great photos, and it is good to see your ugly mug across from us first thing in the morning. I hope Sands is able to see he is a master at making CaboJohns, and people are starting to get really interested. He shows up early, and plugs along past closing. Sands work makes everybodies art look that much better. Oh yeah, he is going to cut me a cabochon. It is red coral, and, he is using a pin for a dop. It is a replacement for an handmade Indian Head ring, with inlet turquoise, paua shell, and two small red coral temple pieces. When he is done, the cabochon should be a little larger than 2mm.

Beautiful work! Is it just me or is that golfer related to the little red guy on the rock that rockyraccoon got from stoner?

Nice work, Doc. Living in the Land of Turquoise, I'm fairly immune, but that's a beautiful ring. I also really like the wrapped piece. It's nice to be able to see some of your stuff at long last. It's worth it to have sands there for that reason alone...some things were meant to be. Susan

Wow, what a treat!! Thanks Sands for the pics and Thanks Doc for letting Sands photograph them. It is great to finally see more of your work. That wrap is really neat, maybe someday I'll give it a shot, when I learn to use hard wire.
