Not sure what this material is. I have an internal fracture where the red spot is and for some reason it caused a lot of chatter on the slabs. Some other internal fractures in the lighter band as well. Might just toss these in the tumbler. I fire up the saw when I get home from work and usually get a slab or 3 cut before taking care of the dogs for the night. Feels good to be cutting again.  |

Looks like you should've waited until the 4th of July to cut those!  Sometimes making a few cuts on some rocks can make the day's worries disappear.  |

Did the stone feel somewhat heavy or light for its size?

Stone felt normal weight for it's size.
