I had to play with the lighting and saturation a little on these first few, couldn't quite get the colors right, thought they deserved the tweak.... If anyone knows what this is please let me know, I really like it! Somewhere between a mudstone and banded chert...dunno
Best parking lot find ever
Ok, the rest are without adjustments
This is one of a few thundereggs I'm attempting to tumble. This one turned out well, not sure about the others. The "shell" is always much softer material.
This material tumbled much better than I expected, in fact if it can be ID'd I would recommend it to other tumblers
Pineapple upside-down cake
I don't know if this is gem silica, but it's really pretty
Refused to take a nice picture, but it's a killer piece in the light
I love this lake find. What I found most fascinating is that the transition from red to blue didn't include any purple, just a soft shade of blue gray
Bare with me, this one of many tiny pieces I got from Tommy , but I'm inclined to think (HOPE) it's Ellensburg Blue, more in a few...
This was actually a splinter piece of a bigger piece of Crazy Lace still tumbling
Alright, so I took a photo of these two together because I thought the Lace would be the most well known and true to color I could find to compare to the blue
Thanks for checking em out guys, had fun with this batch. You'll notice a majority of "foreign" rocks for me anyhow. This was kind of the transition point of my lake finds to the goodies I picked up thru the fall and winter from others. ** Forgot the family shot

Very nice tumbles, Son Of Beach! Yes, the blue is gem silica. Looks to be a piece of Needles Blue. The first one looks like a piece of Wonderstone to me, but I'm not certain on that one.

Those are pretty Son Of Beach ! I like that you didn’t overdo it with the shaping, I really like the more natural shapes of the stones.

I don't say much about rocks. I'm just learning who is who and what is what. Those are really nice rocks Lumberlegs. Thanks for posting. I still haven't figured out most of these sites on how to post pictures.
