Beautiful Sands, that one in the top pic, lower right looks like it's under water, you can even see weeds and sand. Opposite one is a fireball, that's really pretty, do you know what they are? And the one from Kim, that's just gorgeous, looks like Unikite maybe?

Wow, beautiful cabs sands! Pardon me being a bit dumb, but I love the angles being left on the cabs, I have been doing a few like that myself. Is that whats known as an 'apex' cut???
Some stones look so nice that way, I've got some sodalite that came out so nice it really surprised me! I've tried to take pics to post, but the pics just don't do the stones justice!

Rich, have you tried doing a couple on your scanner? I've seen pics you've taken, I can't believe you can't get a good one. Thanks Sands, I knew the first was a thunder egg, that imperial jasper is just cool.

Sandman1 That piece that Kim gave you has character. And you did a fine job on it. I did not realize morisonite had such wonderful patterns. Kim where did you get the morisonite? It truly is pretty as a picture, of a rock of course. Pete

Hey John How ya been? We haven't talked in quite a while!
You sure do have the knack for bringing out the beauty of any particular stone and making a gem out of it!
You've come a long way since we met and I'm very happy for you!!

that thunderegg does look like you might fall right in but you know i'm partial to that morrisonite. great looking cabs sands!
drupe ebay is probably the best place to find some now. it gets pricey and usually you are getting small heels and pieces. i got some from a guy in idaho - paid too much and no better than what is being offered on ebay. if you truly want some just keep your eyes on them on ebay and also study up on carrasite as i've seen some of it being called morrisonite.
