Sands wraps are real good! It is fascinating to watch him. Every time Sands comes over to the shop, he laughs, is just plain decent, fun to be around. If he asks me a question, when I answer or show him how to find out, the fun immediatly stops, he absorbs every detail, and goes off and tries. I usually burn out a student very quickly. Sands keeps on tickin after taking lickin after lickin. He never quits. Just retreats and tries and tries. As he uses the tools more, and more, his work more reflects how he sees the stones. I think Sands will outgrow the fleamarket one day. His work is so over their heads. When his wraps match his cutting and polishing, look out! Jenne and I have watched him grow in the work, and we feel real good at the joy he shows in it. He is drawing a crowd, and I do not mean Sam I Am, Wierd Harold, Big Hair Tina, and Becky the Airhead! He is getting his colourful bunch, but, the people he sells to love the stones, his work, and the chance to see it being done. Fortunatly Sam I Am hasn't broken anything of his lately. It shall be interesting to see how things progress.

Wow Sands. Your cabbing skills are really something! I do believe that's the first time I've seen stefonite cabbed in that manner and its really neat. The geometric shape really makes the pattern more interesting. Keep up the good work....mel

Sands: Still admiring your grat cabochon designs. Hard to tell from the photos. Do these geometrics have a top that is dead flat or is there a slight dome to the cut?...mel
