Those look great, Jason! 38!?! You're really pumping them out. Thanks Gary! Yeah...I'm really trying to get a decent amount of inventory for the Rock Show in June. It'll be my first attempt as "real" sales...so I figure the more I have on-hand...the better the odds I'll have something someone might want.

Those Silver Lace cabs are delicious! I'm not a fan of Millefiore, but that's just me. The wraps are all pretty.

You have wraps dialed in Jason and must have some fast fingers. Amazing work and work rate.

The silver lace are all awesome! Thanks my friend! It seems like whenever anyone comes over to see the wraps I've done, they really gravitate towards the Silver Lace Onyx...so I might do some more of it before the show so I've got a bunch to choose from... Those Silver Lace cabs are delicious! I'm not a fan of Millefiore, but that's just me. The wraps are all pretty. Thanks Robin! I don't know what it is about the glass...but I really like it. I think I said it before...but maybe because I find it "whimsical"...which sounds weird to say even in my head! LOL You have wraps dialed in Jason and must have some fast fingers. Amazing work and work rate. Thanks James! I'm such a slave driver sometimes! LOL - I thought I had more wraps done that I do...so I'm hoping to get another 100 done (really hoping!) before the 10th of June...now I just need more display cases! LOL

Never met anyone that had a strong work ethic that was not totally likeable. You'll get a 100 done !

I absolutely understand what you're saying - and I've always gotten along well with people who aren't afraid to work. Years ago, I lived to work...as I get older and time is seemingly more precious, I work to live...and spend more time smelling the rocks (I don't have roses! LOL). I do think there's a difference between a workaholic and some who isn't shy about getting his/her hands dirty....I think the latter type is more well-rounded and well-balanced in their lives.

Those are all great. I'm with Robin, not a fan of the Millefiore glass but the wraps are beautiful. I like what you did with the wires at the bail to "lock down" the swirls.

I have to give 100% credit to Tela (@rockjumquie) for the idea on how to use those wires at the front of the bail. It has become one of my favorite things to do with the two front wires. I think it really gives a "cleaner" look to the swirling wires when they cross in front of the bail like most of mine do.

I have something to say about that philosophy - work to live, exactly what you said. Primary motive - work first to have spare time and plenty of money to enjoy said spare time. That means either bust butt and get it done fast or find a source of income that pays $200 to $1000 per hour. Preferably the 2nd option. That type of pay rate is totally possible if self employed and have a great product to sell to a willing market. I've done it with 3 different businesses starting in back in 1993, real estate(risky !), aquatic plants and now fire pits. Spend whatever on tools and only the best help(in my case my wife). This = truth - "I think the latter type is more well-rounded and well-balanced in their lives."

Speaking of swimming...I'm planning on going on another rafting trip Monday-Tuesday - yep...purposely spending the night this time. I have no reason to expect it will go any better than last time...but this time I'm going into it knowing it's gonna be a wild ride (or drag if the water's as low as I think it is! LOL). Since it's all about planning...I'm just planning on having another epic story to tell after this one! LOL

Where are you going rafting ? Guessing the water will be chilly ! I'll look up the river level for you on USGS streamflow conditions right here nwis.waterdata.usgs.gov/mt/nwis/rtLet's go ! The Flathead is full of 47F water. Moving east the rivers are at lower levels. Bighorn is flowing well.

LOL - I'm actually in South Dakota... I'm going to be rafting a section of the Cheyenne River south and a bit east of Rapid City. It's LOW...and I know it is. I already know I'm going to be walking a lot of the river. However, there is SO much rock that is exposed right now...and I know there's few...if any people willing to go down the river now - or anytime soon.

However it looks like the Cheyenne must have gotten a big rain today according to Plainview gauge. Went from 350 to 1800 cu ft per second about mid-day. Your in SD, not Montana doh. Have fun, put up photos please.
