they are all good randy. the bail is the best on the 2nd one but you really have a knack for this.

Yup, I agree with Kim, the bail does look best on the 2nd one. It's smoother with the wraps kept tighter together. Can you wiggle the stone at all? It's important to have the wire tight so the stone doesn't wiggle at all but is held very tightly. You are doing really good Randy, I am very impressed.

impressed? heck, i am humbled! those are unbelieveable for first trys....yep, i'd say natural talent there... either that or that is SOME BOOK!

I really appreciate the compliments, that's my insperation!! Cher- The rocks don't move, the one in the middle is really tight! I think that I'm squeezing the wraps too tight, I'm going to try something different. I'll post pics. lol Alice- I think that I'm going to keep on doing them in brass until I'm out of brass, the spool looks like I can make 8-10 more. I'm really enjoying this so it shouldn't take long at all, then I'm going to get into twisting the flat wire (all that fancy junk) ;D
