Bought myself an early Christmas present in a gem shop in Quebec - a polished agate slab. Oops . . . forgot the quarter . . . That's the $27.75 - in quarters. Picked this album cover cause it made me think of Doc sharing the secrets with Sands. Rich

Wow, nice slab! I can't get over how big it is.... It's nearly the size of an LP!!!!
Which town in Quebec is the gem shop? Did they have any tumbling rough? do they have a web site?

Cher, Rollingstone - Stupid me forgot to ask what kind it was. I was too busy drooling over other stuff in the shop.
Alice - Quebec city - shop is called Geomania, in Place Royale, down below the Frontenac. No rough. Gems and minerals, jewelry, native stones, lotsa nice stuff.

Rich-
Why'd you just buy one? If you weren't so cheap you could've bought 5 more and had a nice set of Christmas dinner plates!!!!!!!!J/K, LOL Agate dinner plates, now that's a real conversation starter.
Real nice purchase Rich. Enjoy it.

We used to have a few Geomania's in Montreal, but they're no longer around. Very nice, but over priced store from what I can remember. You must have paid a fortune for that slab!
