So, I saved up for a Hi Tech 6" saw. This weekend the girls and I tried it out for the first time. We cut 4 geodes. Pics in the links below. Crystaline GeodeSugar GeodeTrancas GeodeOjo de Sonora GeodeRight after the first one I cut my 4yr old said, "this would be perfect for my rock collection" then she proceeded to run off with the goede . . .  |

Cutting open geodes with the wonder of kids standing on the observation deck has to be worth the price of the saw. Enjoy it.

Those are some nice geodes! Congrats on the new saw, I can't wait to get mine running. Little kids are fun to cut in front of.  |

One gets you accolades...the other gets you jail time! LOL Just teasing.  Pretty awesome that your 4-year-old already knows to call "dibs"! |

That is hilarious!! I stand corrected it is definitely "Right after I cut the first one, . . . "  So, I saved up for a Hi Tech 6" saw. This weekend the girls and I tried it out for the first time.
