First cab to completion! And a fun story to boot!

That's a very nice cab! My first was way worse than that. Great job on the shape, polish, and girdle. What is the story?

In the 1970s my uncle John and namesake hounded a 6-inch nodule from Red top mountain that nodule then went through a house fire and ultimately was inherited by my father and my uncle John passed away some 30 years later my dad and I join a rock club and saw that nodule and lo! There was blue on the inside some will question if it's ellensburg blue or not but it comes from the tanaway basalt above the fluvial plain that ellensburg is below. So it's sentimental to me and my family and I believe I'll make a ring out of it to remember Uncle John.

You got a killer shine on your first cab!  Congrats on creating such a beautiful family heirloom.  

I think it's the agate it seemed to polish itself thank yah all. I have another small preform of this variety I'll be doing as well. Than some Amy sage hits the wheels. And then some local green water red and black agate. Thank yah all! Untill next time.

I prefer the high domes. 5 / 16 and 3/8ths inch slabs fly off my saw

From a color perspective, I'd go with a silver setting on that one!

Pretty cab. I think silver would really complement it.
