I cut a lot of aventurine but that's not in the pic. I cut some sodalite and some sorta agate too. I like sawing but I hate cleanup. Good thing for plastic sheets and hoses! Joe

Ha ha- yeah that's what I classify them as when I no longer remember which box or bucket I took them out from! It's that or CRS rocks. My buckets get nastier each week.

Hey Joe, isn't it a little chilly out there in the garage or do you have it heated?

Hey Joe - Looks like you bought a Stefsaw at Home Depot. But that new camera's still only good for two pictures, huh?

The garage is solar heated... The door faces southwest so if the sun shines I get heat by noon. Colorado is very nice when the sun is shining. <imagine/>{rectangle_picture_of_pure_black} titled, "Colorado at night"</imagine> <imagine/>{rectangle_picture_of_pure_white}titled, "Colorado during a blizzard"</imagine> The garage is not so nice at these times! Joe C'mon now. This is a challange. Show us your filthy work pics! Anyone who has been in this hobby more than 6 months should be able to shame me right outta here! There is no prize except bragging rights but hey, they count for something. Right? So post your worst mess.

The camera is now good for a lot of pics. I got a 500 (forget exact number) MB card for $29.00 and put it in this AM. I couldn't get the other pics to look messy enough to post here!

Ok, I cut the aventurine into little cross shapes. Here is one. After a couple of weeks in coarse. (a different one) I don't have any polished aventurine crosses yet but here are some polished cubes that I want to drill holes in so they will look like dice.
