Stefan, I gave it to the kids. I have no idea what they did with it, but I'm sure a few pieces ended up in the sandbox, And a few pieces might have ended up mixed up with their arts and crafts stuff.

Geez, Alice, you got me hooked on trying to afford the Mex Lace and I think you just cured me. I would have cried!

That looks a lot like the stuff I got from Kingsley North and that is almost exactly to the word what they told me when I wrote them ... exact same quality!

Poor ugly dog. He died recently. That was one ugly dog and a lucky one to have run into the lady that adopted him. She adored him. His personality wasn't much better than his looks. They did a wonderful special on him. Sorry off topic and drifted onto my favorite topic in the world. Dogs.

carolelgin, Mexican lace is beautiful stuff, and it'll well worth saving up for. Just don't buy from Mine Run Gems.
You mean to tell me that dog is real? I thought it was computer generated

If I were you I would put something in the hole area and break that piece apart and try it again. Tami

Lcars, that is a contender! How long did you roll it before you decided it was hopeless? The ugly I posted at the beginning only tumbled for four days to take on that look.

If Trish ever offers up Mexican lace again (arkierock) that is the stuff you want- It was so freakin incredible- I cut most of it up- sent some to a few lucky people- I think a chunk or 2 even got into the Box- But good Mexican Lace is a site to behold- Bad Lace- well is just plain worthless!

Sheesh! It's bad enough that we have to have drool towels, but now barf bags as well. Snowdog, yours looks like it might have potential. It's big enough to be broken up, and it almost looks like it might have some patterning in it. Steve

Ha ha Steve It's just my way of bringing variety to the board! Towels and barf bags? A Rockhound should always be prepared. Or is that a Boy Scout? Snowdog, as Steve says, yours has potential. But if it breaks up well and all the material tumbles well then it don't count! However it is some UGLY rough. Thanx for posting it.

Joe, believe it or not that ugly bad boy eventually became uniform & polished up nicely! I don't have a pic yet but i'll try to remember...

No way Lcars! You'll have to prove that claim with a pic!
