lucy You can tag people using @ then their name which you can get off their profile or touch their name and that will also take you to their profile. jasoninsd will keep you in stitches. Lol Yes Michigan is cold most years from Oct up to and sometimes including May but if you don't like it wait 15 minutes because most times it will change. We fashion Halloween costumes around snow suits and you can very easily feel all 4 seasons in 1 day. Lol. Wait...was this a subtle reference to the five stitches I still have in finger from my recent rock "bite"?? LOL OMG!!!!!!!!! jasoninsd no I wasn't referring to your finger because I didn't know. I am so sorry to hear. I hope you get better soon. What kind bit you so I can steer clear if it. I dont want nor need a rock "bite".

I thought it would have been hilarious had you used that phrase purposely! LOL It was a Teepee Canyon Agate Nodule. The saw grabbed the rock, threw it, and the rock "bit" me as it was leaving the vicinity of the saw.

nursetumblerI was trying to tag him and then it didn't! I felt too much of a dope to acknowledge it though, and couldn't figure out how to delete the comment either, so I was stuck! 🤣🤣 jasoninsdThat sounds like it happened in a split second! Ouch! So what did you do with the rock afterwards? And yes, I'm off my ROCKer!! 😂😂

I ran the saw yesterday, but opted to leave that one for now! LOL Here's a shot of the half that bit me. Teepee Canyon Agate with rare Amethyst in the center (self collected). That jagged edge along the bottom is what got me...

jasoninsdWhat a beauty! Could you tell from experience that it would have something cool inside or did you just get "lucky"? Or unlucky when it comes to the jagged edge!

Definitely dumb luck finding that nodule! I had NO clue there was Amethyst in the middle. Funny thing is, I was talking with a guy out there who was a "newbie" out at Teepee Canyon. He had spoken with someone else he had seen out there earlier in the day and was given directions on where to find Amethyst in the hills (not in a Teepee nodule) several miles away. I found that nodule no more than 20 feet from where he and I were talking! LOL

Oh it got plenty out of me! LOL - I'm still finding "spots" on the garage floor that I somehow missed when cleaning up! Forensic Files would have a heyday in that garage! LOL

I think your question about tumbler overheating was answered - so know we're just using your thread to BS. LOL Just in case though...if it seems like the heat has reached the hottest of the nine levels of hell, I'd definitely think about putting a fan on the motor. They will shut off if the temp of the motor gets too hot...but I think as long as you have room for air flow, it'll be fine. markb - I didn't got to the doc...I just snipped and pulled them myself. LOL

LOL Yowsa bin Bowsa. Maybe try icing it on and off to help with internal swelling. If your doctor didn't tell you that, that will be 70 bucks please. lucy; sorry about hijacking your thread. Some of us have been living under a rock for too long to know how things work here.

jasoninsdI can only hope I'll have that kind of luck some day! The good kind where I find amethyst in a rock, not slicing my finger open! And I don't mind about the hijacking! 😄

Your time will come.
