i should have taken a pic of the green brecciated heart wrapped but the guy that bought it came to get it before i had a chance. his wife was wondering who called and where he ran off to. i was right in the middle of the blue swirlstone when he came and he is coming back to buy it tomorrow. i originally was going to wrap it for one of the lady's that was here from new orleans after the hurricane and had lost all her jewelry in the storm. but i never saw her again and didn't have her name. i thought i would see her again at the shelter but i guess she moved on. here is the one he's coming to get tomorrow rosetta done very simply kim

He's got good taste, that's a beautiful piece The heart is pretty as well, I love that you use that background for your photos, really sets them off nicely!

Nice work Kim, I love your a-typical wraps, they are a refreshing change from the cookie cutter stuff I see at the shows!

sands i don't remember having any trouble with it. i can't remember if i had tried that polish you recommended on the rosetta but i had to have either used tin oxide or the m-5. i did 2 cabs of the rosetta at the same time and they both came out really good. but if it did change shape on me i would have had to reshape the whole stone on whichever wheel i was on to keep it uniform. hell if i know sands lol. i'm a freak when i get on that genie. like a mad scientist or something. i almost need somebody to come get me off of it. they'd probably lose that battle though. if i don't have any preforms cut, i'll smack a slab and keep going or grab a rock that looks like it can be shaped. it must not have given me too much trouble though.
the problem i'm having is my wrists hurt now from all the cabbing and wrapping. i'm fixing to take a bc powder and keep going lol.

Very nice kim, both look wonderful and I wish you had a pic of the one that got away. Hope the phone call and quick run from the man didn't cause any trouble

i had this happen recently robert where a man called and asked me to bring several for him to choose from and it was for his girlfriend and not his wife. glad i saw where it went and didn't ask his wife how she liked her necklace! guess i just won't ask any questions unless someone says something to me.

Steveholmes had the right word - that first one is just elegant. Great picture too.
But obviously too much time is going to rocks and not shed right now!
