Here's some of the Missouri Lace, this has been in coarse for about 10 days. Starting to look pretty darn good too. Here's the whole lot of them. Close up of the pink ones .... Close up of the darker ones .... Here's another piece that I cut, can't remember what it was but will look tomorrow. There was a big chunk of this, it's really cool stuff. Sorry the pictures aren't better. Looks like feathers in it. Thanks for looking, Cher

Been having fun with the saw I see. They're well on their way to being some nice stones. That last stone is really nice too. Do you see the worried look on the girl's face on the back-lit pic?(right side)

Those look great. The slicing seems to really enhance the patterns.

I think you're right RS but it's kind of different to cut. It's kind of hard to figure the pattern from the outside so it's a real surprise when you get into it.
Hey Puppie, where you hiding girl? You off running around in Arizona again?

That Missouri Lace is realy something! Looks like it will work up real fine. The pink color is exceptionally nice. That last pic looks almost like it's plant in origin not unlike some palm fiber I've cut but I don't remember any palm coming from that neck of the woods. Can't wait to see them finished and in your jewelry...mel

Mel, that last one is a piece cut off a chunk that I got from one of the members here. I'll have to dig in boxes to see where it came from but not north for sure. You're right though, it reminds me very much of weeds waving in water or something and is kind of a golden-brownish color.

OMG I am going to pass out. Those things are awesome. All of my friends here will also pass out. I haven't come around in a couple of days. It has been like Christmas frenzy around here with baking 4 kinds of cookies in one day along with a whole lot of shopping and wrapping stuff too boring to talk about. I hardly got to wash the rocks, let alone answer emails or visit the board. So I get back here and here is this. I am in awe. Clearly I have to get a saw. It's not that I'm totally surprised, since I've tumbled some nice pieces and have seen displays of really awesome MO agate cabs and slabs. Still, to think that this is just some of my random pickups is mind-blowing. What I sent you I'd describe as mid level; I think one or two of the pieces looked like what I'd classify as high grade (based on past performance), but, they were also the ones that were too big for you to work with. I tried to, for the most part, avoid the more vuggy rocks and pick out ones that looked fairly solid. I also made sure they all had clear banding outside. Thank you so much for posting these! I can see why you were shouting out for me!
