What kind of outlet is this for, and do you think it’s safe for me to plug my three prong saw plug into it? It’s located on the front wall of my garage up by the door. Thanks

I don't know squat about electricity...but I found this. It looks like the 20amp outlet...so if it were me, I'd go with it. EDITED TO ADD THIS PIC ALSO:

Supposed to be 20A, my guess that, being a single receptacle, it may be a dedicated circuit with a breaker set up for only that outlet. Should be ideal for a saw.

Yep. That's your "freezer plug". As Rockoonz says it should be a dedicated circuit.
