Yesterday I went to MJR to buy some grit. Before I was connected a page came up saying something like this: We are planning to make 6 new videos on how to tumble rocks from start to finish. Send us the picturwes of your rough rocks and we'll choose the 6 people's rocks. If your rocks are chose for one of our videos here are the requirments. You will need to send us at least 12 pounds but we prefer 25 pounds so we have more to choose from. We will pay for the shipping. After we have completed video we will ship polisted rocks back to you completely free. Like I said, basely what it said. I thought it came from MJR so I wrote them this morning and didn't know a thing about it. Since then I've searched everywhere I can think of to find what I saw and read. No luck. Have any of you seen or heard about this before? On a second thought, so I was pumped yesterday. I weighed out 25 pounds of my best found rough. Took a dozon pictures and pretty certain I would be one of the 6 people! That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Hello hartrock, I've never seen or heard of anything like this. It might be legit, but it just doesn't sound right to me. I think there are enough tumbling instruction videos out there that a well known company wouldn't need to make another. It'd be cool if they made a video with your rocks though. I'd much rather tumble my own. Thanks for informing us.
