as bad grit.. I read a post a while back about bad grit. well here's my conclusion. I ran Smokey quartz and bots for 2 weeks in a coarse grit with no result.. so I changed the grit, a less coarse cause thats all I have for now, and a week into it man they're looking great, they have the same amount of rocks, water etc..Any one else come across the same problem? I'll post sneak peek pics in a bit OK here are the pics.. The quartz had lots gold veins going through it..tried to get good pic. but it's night no sun. and heres the bots and just because he's soo cute

That's called rutilated when it has those "lines" through it. Cute little one you have there.

Aw man, that sure was a nice touch there JD. I'm slowing scrolling down slowly, and enjoying your beautiful stones, and what do I see at the end? A beautiful baby. Nice way to end the viewing of your rocks.

Whatever you do make sure to avoid putting that last one back in the grit. He's polished to perfection!

Ya grit was left , no slury tho I guess I could have let it go longer but I think it would have had no results..I'll experiment after this batch is done and let you know..
