Has anyone tried using "Fiberglass Evercoat" marine resin for any step in stabilizing, crack filling, hole filling and the likes, on our rocks? It's waterproof, hard as get out, and I think it's cheaper, size for size, than art resin.
Just a thought. Anyone have any input or idea's on this?

Not as strong as epoxy, permeable to water and not thinned by acetone. So while cheaper, it has its limitations.

I don't think there is such a thing as optically clear fiberglass resin. The more transparent panels used for roofing and walls also tend to turn yellow pretty fast under UV light.

The little bit of experience I've had with fiberglass resin it has been pretty thick.
