I felt like getting the wheels spinning for a few hours today and here's the result: Labled from top to bottom; Serpentine from the Wild Turkey mine that got freeformed, Botsonawa agate from Starguy (Thanks Brent ), Pinolith freeform, and a nice Montana agate, also from Starguy. These pictures were taken with morrisonite as the backround. Serpentine: I'm not sure how I feel about this material. It was very soft, and took a horrible polish (any tips on what to use) but was somewhat fun to cab. I've got a little more of it I might be willing to work too. Botsonawa agate: I like this stuff a lot. I think I'll be putting some in my next Kingsley North order. It cabs a lot like Brazilian agate. Pinolith: This was going to be calibrated, but it was WAAAAY softer than I expected, and totally got eaten by the 80. I turned it into an oval that is pretty close to a 25 by 18. I like this stuff. Montana Agate: I don't think I can ever work enough of this material. It is definitely on my top 10 favorites.
A huge thank you to Starguy, I love the materials you sent me. Thank you all for looking, and questions, comments, or critiques are always welcome. -Nicholas

perkins17Those are all really nice Nicholas! The Botswana agate caught my eye first. But they are all really nice and pretty material. Really like the colors on the serpentine.

I really like the Bot. I think I might buy a couple nodules soon. The serpentine is really cool, but I couldn't get much of a shine on it. I think I'm going to order a cerium belt to finish it.

Nice perkins17, I really like the Botsonawa agate.
But you got me with the date.
I never seem to know what day of the week it is, but I usually get the week right
Patty... double checking the date on her computer to be sure

Every batch gets better! I like the pinolith. I know how soft it is and difficult to cab, so kudos to you.

The 80 quickly ate through the calibrated shape so I had to improvise. I'm working on improving my cab skills, and I've definitely gotten better than I was, but I'm not great yet. We're getting there.

Great looking cabs Nicholas. Thanks for showing. Thank you. I really like the materials. I cut the majority of the slabs you sent last week so I've got a small pile of preforms to get cabbed.
