Do you guys have any good examples of wraps that are different than "traditional" wraps. I use that term loosely, I know all you wrappers put a ton of work and creativity into your work, not trying to lump them all together.

I don't have a cab machine to shape or make symmetrical cabs.

I like the look of something like this. Just trying to think of something to do with some of the rocks I'm accumulating..

I've also seen some of the copper "trees" with small stone in the "branches"

I'll be curious to see what people have to show in this thread. I've been trying to figure out how to wrap stones that aren't cabochons, and I have yet to find a "style" that I would be happy trying to emulate...

Hi, Lumberlegs, people have a somewhat annoying habit of bringing me something they found and saying "can you make a pendant?" Below are some of the less than artistic solutions I have come up with. I have to admit, some of these are "painful" to look at, but perhaps they will give you some ideas.

I'll do a separate response for bracelets, etc.

Here are two bracelets that were done with calibrated stones, but could easily be done with any stone with enough "slope" that wrapping wire around it will hold it secure. Also a tree of life on an agate slab that was a gift when a friend's father died--it's hard to see but there are different colored stones (in with the garnet) for parents, children and grandchildren. 2nd bracelet was from a YouTube tutorial but I forgot who--I can look if you like.

Oh didn't realize the green one is a huge "pendant". Almost a size of a small purse....
