Do you guys have any good examples of wraps that are different than "traditional" wraps. I use that term loosely, I know all you wrappers put a ton of work and creativity into your work, not trying to lump them all together. I don't have a cab machine to shape or make symmetrical cabs.
I like the look of something like this. Just trying to think of something to do with some of the rocks I'm accumulating..
I've also seen some of the copper "trees" with small stone in the "branches"

Not sure I can offer any help. I like the one pictured, though.

I'll be curious to see what people have to show in this thread. I've been trying to figure out how to wrap stones that aren't cabochons, and I have yet to find a "style" that I would be happy trying to emulate...

Don't see why you couldn't do that style of wrap with wire just can't picture how right now.

I like those wraps, chad. Nice idea. I wish I had two things, creativity, and tools to carve with. Then I would have something to do with some of my rocks.

Beautiful bracelets! The different color stones of the family tree is also well-thought.

I actually love the green pendant and the black&white one. Thank you, Pebblesky! The black and white one is blackwater jasper and needed to be saved; the green one is about 3.5 inches across, completely off-balance, and threatened to crumble every time I tightened a wire. (Serpentine). I was happy to come up with something that allowed it to balance.
