I honestly love that round. I haven’t been cabbing for very long and is probably my favorite at this point in time. |

I honestly love that round. I haven’t been cabbing for very long and is probably my favorite at this point in time. Turned out really nice, and I happen to be a big fan of round cabs. Keep em coming lol! Means a lot coming from you. First round cab I’ve ever made. So motivates me to do more. |

Now THAT'S vistaite! I'm so tired of people on eBay selling "vistaite" - can't hold a candle to these. I love the round, too. GREAT JOB!

Don't want to sound like a broken record- but that round one is really nice.
I also like making round cabs, did you do it free hand on a dop ?
Or some people I understand do them with a drill(I never have)??

Both cabs are beautiful, but yeah, the round. You don't see Vistaite like that around much anymore.

My very first "formal" cabochon class, Steve Nelson handed me a slabette of about AA grade vistaite. When I said it was too good for a first cab he said "you'll remember it".
Those are nice, especially the round. I'm the guy who does the core drill preform, dop centering jig, power drill to finish "hack" with rounds. I was making scads of them to fit wine stoppers and wanted to speed up the process. I have great respect for those who do it by eye.
