I made a pair from agate it out of a geode that weren't spectacular material but I really liked them. Just a simple mirrored pair Sometime between the final polish and carrying them into my room. I lost one of them. We've searched and searched and can't find it. So now I have one!Can I call your name
I was working on another pair today and one of them broke as I was finishing them up.
I've got four pair. I've got it narrowed down to two of them. One of those I dropped off the cab machine and it took me about a half an hour to find it! I better get pictures of these things and get it turned in. As a side note, does anybody know what this second material is? It's extremely soft. I was still shaping the dome on the 1200 wheel. Doesn't make it easy on such a tiny cab!

Thanks for the ID and the confirmation. It's pretty stuff but man it's soft. You can almost grind it just by thinking about it. I had a tiny little scrap of it. Those cabs pretty much used it up.

I slept in and couldn’t beat the heat, so I couldn’t finish my second cab and won’t be entering. I did something I haven’t seen others do (or at least I couldn’t find any other examples here or elsewhere online). I personally thought it turned out pretty freaking cool. Oh well… that’s just how it goes.
