Well, it was last weekend in Ely, NV. Meant to post something a week or so ago and didn't get it done. Oh well, we got through it, even had some rain on Saturday. Ok, most of Saturday. Our booth on Sunday morning after the sun came out. Some of our stuff. Among the sun catchers the moons and the saguaros are new this year. I keep trying to come up with new ideas.
The night lights are another new item this year. Sold well. Looking on down the row. A little local color or humor. I took this picture back in June when we did the little rock show at the museum in Ely. The cemetery is just across the street. Every night the buzzards roost in the trees in the cemetery. Caught them on Sunday morning as they were just starting to get going for the day. Had a great weekend even with the rain. We wound up getting almost a half inch of rain over a couple of days. So far this year we've had about 0.75 inch in our gauge at the house. Lots of people came through, and our sales were a little ahead of last year. Thanks for looking. Have a gat day. Russ

Glad you had a good show! I like those nightlights. May have to try one myself.

Glad you were happy with the show. I can see why the nightlights were a hit.

How do you slice the rocks so thin for your sun catchers & night lights ?
Pretty nice .

liveoakWell, I just set the saw for thinner slabs. Need to have a pretty solid rock to start with, but it works pretty well. Russ

I wasn't sure if you would have some kind of special set up since you obviously do a lot of thin slabs. They look nice - I might have to dag out the stain glass stuff & try it out.
Thanks, Patty
