I made earrings once that were opposite each other. They were a big hit.
I love earrings that are different , as long as they go together ( except when it's a matched set contest !)
I've been thinking about wire wrapped earrings , thinking of course they are harder since smaller-
any chance you have a couple to post for inspiration.

I don't make too many earrings which is too bad because I wear more earrings than anything else. I have long hair. Wire wrapped earrings tend to snag and catch long hair. When I can make them with less risk, I will.
I don't make bracelets because I don't wear them. I should make them for my daughter, but I'm a bad mother.
I'll put together a thread with earrings.

Well, I'm feeling magnanimous today, so I'll let you live. LOL!! Thank you for telling me how you really feel. Don't mind, at all. Honestly, it could go either way with me. I kid you not...I had that typed out and debated for about 5 minutes whether I was going to post it or not! LOL I fully appreciate your honest opinion.

Earrings are my daily go to, I feel naked without them on.
An earring thread would be fun.
Maybe your daughter should make her own bracelets- builds character to do things yourself

I have tried to get her to sit down and learn a few things to no avail. Though she did get a few basics down, like earwires and jump rings.

You’ve seen two-sided cabs, why not a two-bail wrap that could play either way?
Hang a dingleberry or a bead on the bottom of the day.

These are always interesting, learning people's perspectives and hearing what they're drawn to...I'm consistently surprised every time. It seems many stones are ambidextrous, though they may slightly favor a specific orientation. Then there are stones that, for me at least, either win or lose depending on orientation, and this is one of those. I agree with what I think jasoninsd was saying, the stone is awesome, and your wrapping work is superb, but that orientation just turns me off for some unknown reason. I wonder if there are other shared traits between people who prefer one orientation over another, like left-handed vs. right-handed for example. The psychology of rocks

I like posts that explore different ways of looking at things. Interestingly, I almost never see the images in stones that other people do. I don't know why.
I think I know why I chose this orientation. I actually sketched out a design the other way round, but it was too simple and boring. The cab didn't need any help from me. But, when I flipped it around- ideas started popping in my head. So, I worked one out.

There used be a a column in "Lapidary Journal" where they would show someones finished piece of jewelry and suggest people submit sketches for the next issue of how they would do it. It was an interesting column sometimes to see different peoples take.
