ibb.co/9gzRXW6ibb.co/wy9cW0WI picked up a stone smaller than my fist and crushed it. Came from eagle river area near anchorage Alaska. Any idea of what kind of rock it is?

Without pics and maybe some information such as hardness and density, it would be impossible to even try and give an ID.

pictures are deceiving are they mostly gray?
they looked to be real fine grained so some type of frozen lava?

They are mainly grey. After two days of stage 2, some are black now. When I broke I split them into pieces, the inside had a bit of sparkle to it. Not much though
