In between working on my curvy entry, I slipped in a stromatolite cab this weekend.

Having heard mixed reports of soft patches, and not taking a polish,

all and all I'm pretty happy with it, glad I got a whole 5 lbs worth from the Rock Shed.

No idea. I got it from The Rock Shed & they give no origin location.

It has beautiful red (and sometimes green) Stromatolite patterns. I like when it is cut so that the "tunnels" make roses. Really pretty stuff.
