I haven't cabbed in about a year, I guess. Seems like it anyway. I got some done yesterday, but it took me 3 cabs to recalibrate my eye for the girdle. I did mostly freeforms of scraps and one offs that have been sitting around awhile.
Not sure which orientation I like best, but, for jewelry, I like it up and down. This is a Priday thunder egg, I think. It is 44mm.
A flame agate, probably Nova Scotia. It was a little scrap, but worth saving.
Biggs jasper from a piece that broke off a slab I haven't cut. The slab is clearly Blue Biggs.
Rhodochrosite- another freeform.
Crazy lace
I very small piece of opalized wood broken from a chunk. I think this is from rockpickerforever.
Another small freeform from scrap. Better in person. Royal Aztec Lace.
This is way better in person with a lot of depth and chatoyancy. I think this is bingamite from a member, but I just can't remember who. Another freeform.

Tela, you be correct, that small wood piece came from me.
Nice cabs! My fav is the first one, in the vertical orientation.

I like them all, hard to pick a favorite! I really do like the Aztec lace, though. Now I'll have to sit and wait for the wraps!

Quite a plethora of beauties you got there Tela! A very colorful and diverse group of cabs! I'm glad you were able to get back on the horse...or bicycle, I guess! LOL They're all fantastic...but the standout to me is that Crazy Lace. Gorgeous shape...and fracture free!!

Fantastic cabs! I think the kicker is how you're also able to take really good pictures of them. That's half the battle sometimes!

That Priday Plume is spectacular! Luscious! Horizontal please!
All are great, and my #2 is the Biggs. Do you have a new lighting set-up? Whatever you're doing it's working very well.

Really excellent cabs!! Whoa, that priday plume is super nice, especially horizontal. That Royal Aztec lace is beautiful too! Not sure if I've seen that material before.

I'm with everyone else. They're all spectacular, but I'm stuck on the Priday, Royal Aztec and Biggs. Great assortment and beautiful work. Have you looked at taking your first orientation of the Priday plume and flipping it over? To me it looks like some bizarre alien forest with the solid part that you have at the top, being the ground.

They're all great, but that plume is absolutely amazing. I don't think I've ever seen it before, but, then again, I don't get out much. FWIW, I like the orientation in the second photo best. For me, it just seems to flow rather nicely and looks somewhat scenic. My first thought when I saw it is that it reminds me of old Japanese paintings. Awesome...just awesome.

I like them all. Fav is the Priday with the horizontal orientation. It looks like mountains to me.

Beautiful Tela. I'm in love with the Priday thunder egg.
I like the first orientation.
And the Biggs Jasper pattern layout is terrific.
Best thing, is you got a day off, with pretties to show for it

Granted these are not my best efforts. I'm a little rusty. I hope to do better today.
I have forgotten how to quote everyone at once so I'll reply individually.

Tela, you be correct, that small wood piece came from me. Nice cabs! My fav is the first one, in the vertical orientation. Yeah, you sent some really sweet pieces of wood. Unfortunately, I don't do much saw work- but I will and when I do you'll see some more opalized wood. One of my favs. Thank you.

That priday plume though 🤤 I figured that one would be popular. I was pleasantly surprised that non of the plumes broke the surface.

Like them all but that Priday plume WOW! Thanks, Mel. I actually paid a bunch for that slabette but it was worth it.
