Quite a plethora of beauties you got there Tela! A very colorful and diverse group of cabs! I'm glad you were able to get back on the horse...or bicycle, I guess! LOL They're all fantastic...but the standout to me is that Crazy Lace. Gorgeous shape...and fracture free!! Thanks, Jason. I like the crazy lace, too. It was a really solid slab. Got lucky.

Fantastic cabs! I think the kicker is how you're also able to take really good pictures of them. That's half the battle sometimes! Thank you!! I ditched my old light tent and got a photocopy stand for my cell phone. Ezpz.

That Priday Plume is spectacular! Luscious! Horizontal please! All are great, and my #2 is the Biggs. Do you have a new lighting set-up? Whatever you're doing it's working very well. Thank you. I like it horizontal, too, but that orientation- to me- belongs in a silver setting.
Thanks for your comment on the pictures. I did switch it up a bit.

Ooooh, yummy! The Priday! ( ) What a fantastic cab! Another vote for the Priday. Can't really mess that stuff up. Just gorgeous what mother nature can do.

Really excellent cabs!! Whoa, that priday plume is super nice, especially horizontal. That Royal Aztec lace is beautiful too! Not sure if I've seen that material before. The Royal Aztec is not the best example, but thank you. It comes from Mexico and I believe it is mined out. It comes from thin veins, I think, so you never see it real big.

Nice cabs! This may sound silly, but I think the rhodo could be fashioned into a wine glass brooch lol! Cool! I can totally see that! Thanks!

I'm with everyone else. They're all spectacular, but I'm stuck on the Priday, Royal Aztec and Biggs. Great assortment and beautiful work. Have you looked at taking your first orientation of the Priday plume and flipping it over? To me it looks like some bizarre alien forest with the solid part that you have at the top, being the ground. It would look good facing that way, too. I was torn. It's just a great piece of rock. Thank you for your thoughts.

They're all great, but that plume is absolutely amazing. I don't think I've ever seen it before, but, then again, I don't get out much. FWIW, I like the orientation in the second photo best. For me, it just seems to flow rather nicely and looks somewhat scenic. My first thought when I saw it is that it reminds me of old Japanese paintings. Awesome...just awesome. Thanks, Dave. That pattern is called a bouquet for obvious reasons. Maybe, I'll have to do a wrap that hangs either way.

I like them all. Fav is the Priday with the horizontal orientation. It looks like mountains to me. Thanks, Beth! I'm glad you like it.

Beautiful Tela. I'm in love with the Priday thunder egg.
I like the first orientation.
And the Biggs Jasper pattern layout is terrific.
Best thing, is you got a day off, with pretties to show for it

Thanks! My plan is to cab today, too. Let's see if it happens and no emergencies pop up.

Ugh! Made this post and lost it! Here we go again.
I like this set up for cabs, but it doesn't like metal- too much glare on the metal. I could diffuse the lights but then it wouldn't be bright enough.

Bless you for posting this info! I've searched Amazon exhaustively for a copy stand like that but failed to find this one. I ordered it -- just hoping it will accommodate an iPhone 13 Pro (some holders are too small for it I've found). When you say diffusing the lights would make them too dim, can you explain why? Are they low output? I like the fact color temp can be varied but am especially enthused that they have a 5500 K daylight setting. Considering getting a set.

I haven't tried diffusing them, but if they are like any other light- that will make the lights less bright. I find that they are plenty bright, as is, and I don't need to turn them up all the way. They are usb rechargeable, too.
