I was given a 10 inch Frantom saw, it works well. I use it with water (mostly cutting soft Petoskey stones). I empty the reservoir after every use to avoid the blade resting in any residual water. I am having a hard time getting the water out of the reservoir. The drainage hole clogs easily . I have to take the entire table off to get access to the reservoir to coax the water towards the drainage hole, or to clear material from the drainage hole. Is there an easier way? Any ideas would be welcome, I find myself not using the saw as much because it is a hassle to empty the reservoir.

Since you are using water, you could try using a stiff piece of wire to ream out the drainage hole from the outside. Probably be good if you poured some extra water on the top as your doing it to help flush things out. Might get a little messy with water running down the wire, but less of a hassle than having to take the top off. Your probably still going to have to take the top off to clean up the accumulated gunk, but not very often

I have my 8" and its motor mounted on a board, run water too. I put a large cabinet handle close to the back of the board so I can lift it up in back and put a 1" thick stick under it to tip it forward, never have had plugup trouble. My drain is center front.

Thanks for the feedback. I have an angled drainage stopcock on the drainage hole that I think I need to remove, so I can get a wire in there easier. I have thought about tilting the saw however it is mounted onto a bench with the motor mounted under. I think that titling the entire saw would be super helpful.....may have to invest the time into figuring out the best way to do that.
I was getting so frustrated with the saw , but doing a bunch of online searching and getting suggestions to fix the problem has made me realize that it is not worth giving up on. Thanks

On my cabbing machines, after draining out all of the water from the trays that will drain from gravity I use a natural sponge to absorb the rest. Probably should work for a saw too.
