Howdy folks, long time no see! Here’s three different nodules of Royal Sahara. I picked these up several years back from George and Janet of Oasis Prospecting down at Quartzsite.

First one showed a promising pattern but played out after a couple cuts

Second started off strong with dendrites and patterns... but the dendrites went a little blurry. Still kinda cool tho

Third time was the charm, with everything you would want in one of these nodules

realrockhound I think the last end cut would make a great display piece, should I ever polish the cut side. Definitely a few cabs to be had!

I get it...I really do. Those really are amazing specimens. I have a hard time looking at slabs without thinking "CABS!". I wish I were more into "specimens"...but there are very few pieces that I've kept without hacking them to pieces. LOL
