OUTSTANDING photos. Stunning country. .... but show us the rocks you found on your trips!! Right Pat! Drive 20 feet and get out to look for rocks. Drive 20 feet and get out ... repeat okay, maybe a quarter mile at a time and search a larger area. Either way, it's gonna take a LONG time to get there!

Glad that's been figured out.
How much oil is touching your blade? I have never had ground rock residue on a blade like that. Just wondering if that blade is running too dry.

^ photo reminded me of something else I've been meaning to ask you.
How does one secure a 55 gal barrel to a pallet for shipping? Seems it would be kinda top heavy. Figured you would know.

I appreciate the offer, but don't think I could use it in my barrels. I couldn't get 30 grit to breakdown in them, so I'm thinking that this chunky stuff probably wouldn't either. The Thumler's Model B barrels have a thick rubber liner in them which may reduce or slow grit breakdown. They work well for my lackadaisical tumbling method. Had to give up on 30 grit. 46/70 is my go to coarse grit now.
This stuff you picked up probably works great in hard sided barrels like your PVC creations. Coarse grits smashed between rocks & PVC making for proper/faster breakdown of grit and speedy rock shaping. Do you think this would work in lined barrels?
Is your stuff a numbered (graded) grit?

Values are taught in many ways, not ONLY by hanging sparkly lights. only verbalizin' Of course. I never said that those that decorate have something over those that do not. Those that don't decorate may have other traditions. And other values.

I can't keep up - what grit(s) is this bulk stuff you got?
Heck of a deal you found. Wonder how many of us have someone in our area that sells such and we don't even know where to look.

Very ambitious project, but I don't understand. - NOT a gardener!
Why go through that effort and expense? Is a raised bed somehow better than just growing at ground level? Is it to keep out pests like rabbits from eating your produce?
I could see if the local soil is poor quality that something to put better dirt in would be beneficial, but that could be done at ground level with some cinder blocks as a dirt container. Cinder blocks wouldn't rot - ever.
Seems all that wood would attract termites & roaches - 'least here in Florida, and the wood would eventually rot. That upper box wood looks like soft pine, which wouldn't last a year here. Just curious why you went to all that trouble, over a ground level bed.

Welcome to the forum from Florida and a hardy Ni! to you.
I noticed on your Moab thread that you are using Photobucket to host your pictures. Are you paying to host them there? I heard it was like 4 or 500 bucks a year to do so. True?
Oh... have you seen Cliff?

Putting up decorations creates traditions. Traditions create values. Values define one's worth.

It took me two days to put up my outside Christmas lights. Took another two days to put up the Christmas tree. Several hours each day. Now my back is killin' me.
My neighbors that stick a couple of those spotlights in their yard that make some spots of light move around on their house - need to be kicked in the nuts. I'm quite sure their backs feel just fine though...
They look out their window and see awesome Christmas lights. I look out and see their ghetto TV commercial "decorations".
humbug!
maybe next year I should decorate the neighbor's house instead of mine...
