Nice find! I like the new way you're displaying you cabs, slabs and rough together - so artistic! How much of this chapenite type material did you hound?

Mel, your pictures are never boring! I love to see what people self collect and shrinkwood is a material that I have never worked with but am fascinated by! Thank you for posting pictures of slabs, I personally can never get enough of them!

That is a fantastic rock! It seems like there are sections of different to quality specimens. If I were lucky enough to call it mine, I would separate the different formations, cut a few slabs of each, save the end cuts polished for personal collection and tumble what's left! That's just me fantasizing, but I would love to see what you end up doing with it, thanks for sharing!

Rich - if my material could look like that cab, I will for sure! I though fossil lovers prefer their specimens as untouched as possible? Jake, that specimen looks huge! It almost looks like a mollusk, I thought it was more of a barnacle...it is beautiful though, almost looks like a flower

Got my cabbing eye bouncing looking at those fabulous slabs! I really like the snake wood, I could see it in a sterling belt buckle with and nice, thick black leather

Those are all really nice, but the Bruneau looks like a monarch butterfly wing!
