Cool beans! That’s awesome, now bar your door! Lol
The only reason I found it at all was it was laying on the ground right in front of my shop door and I have been walking around it for a year! It a wonder I did not throw it on the rock pile!
I like the learning opportunity this presents. woodman can you provide some input? Thank you Victor for the help, it seems there is agreement with “Arizona, Sunset, and Dendritic” SO amazing that folks can look at a rock and tell you right where it came from, like Burro Creek... just awesomeness.
Really I have no clue of what it is, I got it from a garage sale in Prineville Oregon afew years ago. A friend told me Burro Creek also, so could be. It should make some real good cabs.
I know to use liquid soap for cleaning cycles, but I thought bleach was a no no? Borax is bleach, right? So many people are talking about using it with the soap I got confused. Which isn't hard to confuse me but yeah LOL
Can anyone explain the mechanics of this to me so I can sort it out in my crystallized little brain pan?
Thanks in advance!
I think you are confusing Borax and Commet. borax is used by blacksmiths as flux for forge welding, don't want on oxidizing agents in there. Commet is that cleaning powder that turns blue when you get it wet and smells metallic

Warzy Raptor: Just try being nice to -everyone-, you’ll be surprised at the results! My nasty supervisor will change her tone within five minutes when I kill her with kindness. And the local homeless lady Michelle and I have hour-long knee-slapping convos!
