Hello, and welcome to Cab That Slab #13!Β I cant believe itβs already July 4th, 2020! And what a year it has been. I hope everyone is keeping cool and getting some hounding done, etc.Β fernwood has provided us with this HUGE slab. ID has been tough, either it is a Dendritic Desert Jasper, or Amethyst Sage. Edit: see end of this post.
Please mark out the cab of your choice, and post a picture of the entire slab. An extra photo may be added to show detail and orientation. For the sake of this contest we will assume there are no fractures.
Entries will close Saturday, July 18, at 5 PM CDT. Remember to have fun! Good luck everyone! ETA: victor1941 has helped with ID as Sunset Jasper from Burro Creek, AZ. Thanks Victor!

Here it goes. My pic looks kinda dark. Not sure if it is really that dark, but I'm giving it a shot.

Naw, that would feel like cheating. I'll let it ride. Hope someone sees what I saw. It would make a nice cab.

When the entry has a thick outline does the entry include the space under the line or not?

OK, I can post the prize(s) without photos. 1st Place: $20.00 gift card to The Rock Shed. 2nd Place: $10.00 gift card to The Rock Shed.
I will have the gift cards mailed directly to the winners.
After all, everyone needs supplies to keep transforming their rocks, right? Or maybe purchasing something else from The Rock Shed.

My opinion would be to use the visible area only because if you think about it, what if the lines were super thick and included all kinds of other features not shown in the entry? I think it's easier to do it like this than to try to regulate line thickness when folks tend to struggle with drawing on modern electronic devices. I literally can't do it - I have to download the photo and use my ancient version of Photoshop.
However, it's really up to the person who puts all the time and energy into managing the contest to decide.

If it is any help to you.... I used the "stroke" function in PS Elements. I chose to put the original cab line in the middle of the wider stroke line. But for the sake of the contest, let's say my 10 pixel wide line is on the outside of my cab.
