Yup, that was my second choice. Nice cab! Thanks sorry to steal it - I actually didn't see your post until after posting it. Eva and I were hiking in the bristlecone pines this week and this spot on the slab totally reminded me of those beautiful trees clinging to life on sheer cliffs - some for over two thousand years - in an area that no tree should be able to live.

Sure, thank you. I improved from rough "pen" drawing editing to a shape. Rounding corners isn't there yet π€£

I'll take a shot at selecting an area. Obviously, it should be rotated to the left a smidge (technical term).
I left it at full size, I hope you didn't want it sized smaller.

This slice may be Arizona "Sunset" dendritic agate from Burro Creek.

I like the learning opportunity this presents. woodman can you provide some input? Thank you Victor for the help, it seems there is agreement with βArizona, Sunset, and Dendriticβ SO amazing that folks can look at a rock and tell you right where it came from, like Burro Creek... just awesomeness.

Really I have no clue of what it is, I got it from a garage sale in Prineville Oregon afew years ago. A friend told me Burro Creek also, so could be. It should make some real good cabs.

World of Jaspers by Hans Gamma shows some good pictures for this material. Thank you! I found this picture under Sunset Jasper, Burro Creek, AZ It looks close enough for me, and has the deep orange color with dendrites.

this is the parent chuck the slab came from! Cool beans! Thatβs awesome, now bar your door! Lol The only reason I found it at all was it was laying on the ground right in front of my shop door and I have been walking around it for a year! It a wonder I did not throw it on the rock pile!

Thanks for sharing the parent. Glad you found it (and that it is not in your rock pile).
