Tougher than a witches tit in a brass bra. Good try but your attempt falls short..

Not sure I can beat that one . Don't have to beat it, just have to soak it a while to soften it up so you can chew it shorter. Ewwwwww!!!!

Very nice build! A suggestion if I may? Maybe apply a waterproofing coating to all the wood. Maybe you did and I missed that part. You worried about the drain getting clogged? Maybe a piece of screen over the drain hole that can trap the larger debris -if warranted. You should get years of use out of this machine. Well done. Just glad he didn't paint it purple

that I can't identify! Doing a MAJOR overhaul of rock storage - pics someday - and run across an unknown now and then. Do not like not knowing what a rock is. May be super cool looking, but every rock needs a name. I'm anal that way. Trying to label all rocks, boxes and milk crates* so wife unit knows what is what should I be run over by a bus. May just put together I Don't Know boxes and get rid of those that I can't put a name to. If I ever get the time. Way too much work organizing all these rocks, and WAY too hot - but it needs doin' so that I have room - for more rocks! Been a lot of fun despite the heavy lifting and heat. LOTS of pretty (amazing) rocks that I hadn't seen in years. You would have to see to understand. And even then, many wouldn't understand. psst ... THANKS Mel Sabre52 *milk crates on sale (2 bucks off reg.) at Home Depot. Like $6.97 each = best price of the year. Could name the unknowns Fred or George or if they are really special looking to ya call em Bob . Or send them to me , they would fit right in with all the mystery rocks I have . And stay the hell out of the way of a bus . I thought Bob was a guy with no arms & legs floating in the water....

Friends with a giant RV have invited us on a 2 week road trip to Az, Vegas & southern Utah in October. They aren't into rocks so probably won't be any hounding. Already have some suggestions from coloradocliff on sites to see like Lower Antelope, Bryce, etc.. Anyone have any other "must see" sites? Would like to talk them into going to meet a certain retired geologist in southern Utah.... Thanks

Just curious, want to share results with the boss lady..... Mike, you should have explained why you're asking. I'm thinking the high end will be voted upon just to upset the curve. I didn't vote. The neanderthals will jump into this just to upset things. Good luck on your research. Dave Still have a 25 year old son at home with little motivation or drive. Been at odds with momma for years now....I'm more of a "tough love" type.

That string is going with me to the auto parts store when it's time to find a belt that fits The belt tensioning method will be to slid the entire board the motor is fastened to then screw the board in place. I'm all for low-tech solutions that work and I think it will. The aquarium IS the water supply. I built a recirculation / solid separating / filtration system a couple of years ago - works great and massively reduced my water usage. Bet it's tough on the π ππππ
