smittys, man I can't imagine having that many sweet buckets to go through. If you don't mind do you know the story of the person who put this collection together? Just like to hear more details on the history if you know more. Thanks

Here is a term I have never seen before. Imitation nickel plated steel. Huh? Term was used to describe material that some jewelry findings were made of. Any thoughts? Chromed plated plastic ?

After reading Dave's 1st paragraph my sick twisted mind said "OMG he's cooking for the wife in the nude". The interweb search was "naked Guy apron"..... Instead of your avatar being the cute smiling baby, I'm surprised the child didn't start crying after you posted that stuff. Besides, you wouldn't catch me in the Union Jack. It would be the Gadsden flag. Dave All in good fun Dave, no offense intended.

It continues to amaze me how differently people's brains are "wired". Our sense of right or wrong, good or bad, etc., etc..

Well since no one else is going to ask "What's up with chicken Tommy?". Bet Charlie is just waiting for you to take your eyes off it.

I have a 3lb rotary rock tumbler from Harbor Freight; I believe it is the Chicago brand. There is a loud unnatural vibrating noise coming from the motor. I think it is the fan; I have determined this by turning it off and on again under careful observation and have noted that the sound corresponds with the movement of the fan. I have tried replacing the belt to no avail. The long stick-thing (the bearing?) wiggles back and forth as does the wheel that the belt goes on. This could be contributing to the issue. Is there a way to adjust the fan if it is causing the noise? My tumbler is on its second batch of rocks but I should mention it has been two years since the first batch. The fan is probably hitting the inside of the frame. The motor is mounted with a few bolts to the frame so that you can loosen them to adjust belt tension. I tried one of these HF tumblers for a while & trust me they aren't worth the hassle. Check Craigslist for used tumblers.
