It drives DH crazy, but I love to listen to Christmas/Holiday music this time of year- especially the old tunes.
On a personal note, I have been suffering "empty nest syndrome", so this Christmas is a little tough. Listening to these great old tunes reminds me of, not only my own childhood and the good times, but my own children and grandchildren when they were young.
DH is on the Bah Humbug train. I missed that train. I really love this time of year. Some of you know I am not Christian, but I celebrate the season regardless. I don't think you have to be Christian to understand the underlying message of Peace and Love. It is sad to me that it has become so commercialized.
So, I have some YT playlists going and then I will switch to some Holiday inet radio stations. I'll get some wrapping done (presents, not wire). My granddaughter will be home for Christmas and I look forward to that.

I love to listen to Christmas music and play it. My favorites are the LP's from my childhood and live performances. I also like TransSiberian Orchestra and have CD's of them.

I like Xmas music, but honestly, they start it so early now, by the time the middle of December comes, I'm sick of it.

I like the older Christmas songs. Some of my favorite holiday memories occurred when I watched TV Christmas specials with my father in his bedroom later in life. He had very poor hearing so the bedroom was a great place where we could turn the sound up without disturbing others.

Much of Christmas music sounds like dirges. I like Mannheim Steamroller and a few others. Many sound like they are just being cranked out with no heart. One year, neighbor came with his children and their friends and belted out the happiest Christmas songs while he played his guitar. It was real; it was happy; it was wonderful!

I caroled when I was young, with the Girlscouts, but I haven't seen a caroler in years with 2 churches nearby. What a treat for you!

rockjunquie Tela, it's not a dog, it's a Coati Mundi, a wild animal in the family Procyonidae. Procyonidae is a New World family of the order Carnivora. ... It comprises the raccoons, ringtails, cacomistles, coatis, kinkajous, olingos, and olinguitos. It has been suggested that early procyonids were an offshoot of the canids that adapted to a more omnivorous diet. white-nosed coati mundi
But, you're right, a husky would most likely sing back to mohs, lol.

Keep singing to it- it obviously likes it, or, at least, is curious about you.

Wiki says "They are diurnal mammals native to South America, Central America, Mexico, and the southwestern United States. The name "coatimundi" comes from the Tupian languages of Brazil, where it means "lone coati." "....Coatis are about 30 cm (12 in) tall at the shoulder and weigh between 2 and 8 kg (4.4 and 17.6 lb), about the size of a large house cat." "Their geographical range extends from the southwestern U.S. includes southern Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas into Mexico." Here's more from Arizona Highways: www.arizonahighways.com/classroom/coatimundisDon't think I'd see one in my desert, but they can definitely be found in the US closer to mohs . And I mean in the wild, not just at the zoo! I think we have ringtailed cats here, but they are seldom seen.
