Hello all! Been busy this last week on a special project but I managed to squeeze in a couple cabs. I really like the way these turned out. Scenic Jasper: This one is Red "Heat Treated" Tiger Eye, this stone is amazing! I can not get a photo that does it justice or shows the red flashes correctly. My kids picked out the pattern and stencil shape on this one. They tell me it is some Pokemon called Muck. Patrick on the other hand thinks it looks like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. Whatever..... Hope you enjoy, Thanks! ~Krystee

I love that tigers eye! How did you heat treat it? I have a big piece of tigers eye I would love to have shine like that with the brilliant colors it brought out.

I bet the kids were thrilled when they saw the Eyes and Mouth in that Tiger Eye. You did a great job on both those cabs. I don't know that I can pick a favorite they are both wonderful!

I like 'em both but I am curious to know if you heat-treated the Tiger Eye yourself. Do you have a tutorial if you did? I've got lots of extra Tiger Eye hanging around, it might be fun to try it myself.

I'd have to say Ninja Turtle. I'm impressed with the finish on the Tiger Eye. It doesn't look like a single fiber came out during sanding and polishing. A problem that I've had more times than I care to remember.
